General FAQs
Q: What type of practice is Restoration Healthcare?
A. Restoration Healthcare is a functional medicine and integrative healthcare practice where complex and unresolved health issues are our specialty. We take a high touch, high-tech approach to the practice of medicine. Our physicians and expert clinicians take a deep dive into your current and past health history to seek the root causes of what's ailing you. We help you make sense of the medical data and recommended treatment plan, as well as the cost of treatment and how to pay for it-all the while honoring the financial impact it may have on you and your family.
Q: How do I become a Restoration Healthcare patient?
A. If you’re tired of feeling bad and frustrated by doctors who don’t understand you or your health concerns or condition(s), and if you’re willing to engage in the work required to achieve positive health outcomes, then we invite you to visit our New Patient Signup page where you can request our New Patient Packet. All new Restoration Healthcare patients must complete and submit a New Patient Packet before we can schedule an initial consultation.

Q: Can a Restoration Healthcare doctor be my primary care physician?
A. Technically speaking, a primary care physician (PCP) provides the first contact for a person with an undiagnosed health concern. At Restoration Healthcare, we only see patients either as a referral from another medical practice, or when a patient fails to find the relief or support, they need from an existing healthcare provider. As a result, our physicians are viewed as specialists, not PCPs.
Q: Can I come to Restoration Healthcare for a physical?
A. If you're an established patient, we can do a 'well visit" for you (which includes a physical). But we don't accept patients for wellness exams only. This approach allows us to maintain scheduling opportunities for patients who have complex and unresolved health issues, which is our specialty.
Q: Does Restoration Healthcare treat children?
A. Yes, we do. However, we don't take the place of a pediatrician. Our doctors vary in the age range they accept as patients and infants through age 18.
Q: Does Restoration Healthcare do vaccine waivers?
A. At this time, we do not.
Q: What health insurance plans does Restoration Healthcare accept?
A. Please visit our Health Insurance FAQ page for a complete list of health insurance plans accepted by Restoration Healthcare.
